There is nothing more enjoyable than coming home and eating an entire tub of Häagen-Daz ice cream- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, if I’m being exact. That is, until I made the mistake of reading the nutritional label on the tub. Not only were the sugar and fat contents higher than I should conceivably be eating in an entire day (never mind in one dessert), there were ingredients I not only didn’t know, but couldn’t pronounce… Questionable, to say the least. Determined to find a way to cure my ice cream craving, without simultaneously entering a sugar-coma, I began searching for a healthier habit. Enter Nice Cream, like the one from this Anneka Eats
recipe- a deliciously frozen dessert blended from real foods, that pack real flavor and even realer nutrition. Read below to find out how to make your own Blueberry Nice Cream!
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 cup frozen cauliflower
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- Splash of nut milk
Blend everything together until smooth. If the food gets stuck to the side of the blender, stop the machine, scrape the sides with a spatula, (recover!) and blend again. Transfer your creation to a bowl and top with hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds and more blueberries!
