Hey Zenzy Gals,
Is it just me, or is November seriously stressful? Suddenly it’s freezing, you have 35 different deadlines due within three weeks, it’s dark all the time and everyone is panicking. It is no coincidence that the acronym for Seasonal Affective Disorder is SAD because that’s how everyone seems to be feeling all the time.
Your skin is breaking out, your hair is dry, you haven’t slept in days and your grades are suffering nearly as much as your mental health. There’s no time for self-care when you can barely remember to eat in the morning.
As the days shorten and your “to do” list grows, it can become easy to feel overwhelmed. November marks a big transition into the winter months, a season that (for many of us) won’t end until April. Instead of spending the next 5-6 months in total misery dreaming of days better spent on the beach, here at Zenzy we’re going to focus on making this winter as productive, fun and hygge as possible. Don’t know what that word even means? You will.
We’re here to banish those breakouts, heal your dry hair, keep colds at bay, excel on exams and maintain mental health… SAD will no longer be in your vocabulary. Stick with us for a complete Guide to Winter Wellness and make this season your new favorite (sorry summer).
Yours Truly (in stress-management, self-care and snow bunnies),
