Hey Zenzy Gals,
I don’t think I need to tell you that the world is a weird place right now. I have now been quarantined in my small NYC apartment for 51 days at the time of writing, according to the whiteboard I have on my wall to keep track. I struggle every day to find new ways to feed myself healthy, wholesome foods, when I’m only visiting the grocery stores once every two weeks and I’m tempted to snack once every two hours. I’m working out on my rooftop doing Kirsty Godso’s HIIT workouts on the Nike Training App, since I’m refraining from running on the busy New York streets.
Simply existing right now is a wellness challenge. Trying to eat healthy is made all the more difficult when you’re forced to make every single meal for yourself, or your parents are losing creativity trying to feed the whole family every day. Getting the motivation to workout can be difficult on a normal day, never mind when you’ve been relegated to working out in your living room. Trust me, I get it.
At the same time, prioritizing our mental and physical health is more important now than ever before when we’re lacking fresh air, connection with our loved ones, and our daily routines. So our job at Zenzy right now is to provide new, fun recipes, motivate you to get in daily movement (whatever that may look like!) and suggest tools to improve your mental well-being. Whatever you need, we’re here for you- even if it’s just to talk about how much this sucks. DM Zenzy, or DM me– we’re here to help.
Yours Truly (in weird times and wellness),
